Darn good Prem bite

- BY PAUL BROWN

DARNELL FURLONG says QPR will get a taste of what life is like in the Premier League when they tackle Watford in the FA Cup.

Steve Mcclaren’s men knocked out Portsmouth on Tuesday to book their place in the fifth round for the first time in 22 years.

And defender Furlong,

23, cannot wait to take on the Hornets at home in a televised Friday night clash on February 15.

Furlong said: “You want to be playing in the Premier League and if you’re not playing in the Premier League then you want to be playing a Premier League team.

“This gives us an opportunity to do that under the lights again at Loftus Road. It’s going to be an exciting evening.”
