Philippines in measles crisis

AUTHORITIES in the Philippines have declared an outbreak of measles.

As of January 26 there had been 1,813 cases and 26 deaths – a 74% increase from last year.

There is now increasing concern for the 2.4 million unvaccinated children who are high risk.
