Homeowners in future fears
ALMOST two-thirds of Irish people are concerned about the risk of a housing downturn compared to less than 40% in the North, a survey has revealed.
And nearly twice as many homeowners here (61%) expect the value of their property to increase significantly in the next few years, compared with 33% across the border.
Paddy O’ Connell, from RSM which carried out the study, said: “The results verify what many know – people are uncertain about their circumstances.”
