Zaha set to appeal
WILFRIED ZAHA is considering an appeal after being hit with an additional one-match ban and a £10,000 FA fine for applauding referee Andre Marriner.
The Crystal Palace star was charged with improper conduct for sarcastically clapping the official after his dismissal in January’s
1-1 draw at Southampton.
The winger served a one-match ban during Saturday’s 2-0 win over Fulham for the red card, but now faces a second game suspended. He is available for tomorrow’s clash with West Ham, as the ban is not effective while the player considers his appeal.
