Hull of a prize for students

PUPILS made the grade after winning an award for creating energy-generating pressure pads for ships.

Students at Limerick’s Laurel Hill Secondary School were praised for the Working Waves project.

The pressure pad system feeds into an electricity generator and battery in the hull.
