Channel a fun trip with the kids

Guernsey will be in the spotlight this spring when its annual Heritage Festival takes over the Channel Island from April 19 for three weeks of fascinating exhibitions, events, live music and walking tours.

“Guernsey Encounters – Throughout the Ages” is this year’s theme, covering the island’s history from 8,000BC up to the modern day. Events include a foraging adventure, trying your hand at milking a rare breed Golden Guernsey goat, getting on board Le Petit train for a journey back to Victorian Guernsey, and learning how to knit an iconic island jumper.
