‘WE’LL GET NEIL WITHOUT FIGHT’

North End may be 12 points clear of the drop zone, while the Trotters are three points from safety, but Neil knows his team can take nothing for granted.

The Preston boss said: “They will dig in, they will fight and scrap – they will certainly make it a difficult match for us.

“We are going to have to be at our best and more than match them physically. We must make sure we match their levels of effort and, if we can move the ball as well as we can, create some chances.”
