Escape? It’s so chimpanzee-sy

THESE clever chimpanzees use a branch to escape an enclosure at Belfast Zoo.

The stormy weather was blamed for weakening trees inside the pen, allowing for the animals to create a makeshift ladder.

One cheeky chimp went for a stroll on Saturday while others hung out on the walls.

Zookeeper Alyn Cairns said: “They know they’re not supposed to be out of their enclosure, so they got back in themselves.”
