I would walk 50 miles for charity cash

PEOPLE hoping to raise funds for cancer patients will get their walking shoes on for this worthy cause.

The Moylagh 50 Mile Challenge will take place on June 8 and will see up to 1,000 participants complete the route around counties Meath, Cavan and Westmeath.

It has raised €575,000 for the Irish Cancer Society and LARCC Cancer Support Centre.

Fundraiser Brenda Mccarthy said: “Funds raised through the Moylagh JFK 50 Mile Challenge have played a hugely important role in supporting people affected by cancer in Ireland.”
