Ireland living life on mild side
THE sun will be out this week with temperatures reaching up to 13C with plenty of mild weather on the way, Met Eireann has predicted.
A yellow wind warning for several counties petered out yesterday after gusts reached up to 110kmh.
And while the country woke up this morning to widespread frost, more milder conditions are expected in the coming days.
Met Eireann said: “Today will be dry and sunny. Highest temperatures, 9C to 11C. Light southerly breezes will increase to moderate later in the day.
“Tonight will be dry with mainly clear skies.
“Tomorrow there will be some outbreaks of rain and drizzle will move into Atlantic counties.
“It will stay largely dry elsewhere with some sunny spells. Mild with highest temperatures of 11C to 13C in mostly moderate southerly breezes. “Patchy rain, drizzle mist and fog tomorrow night. Lowest temperatures of 6C to 8C. “Most areas will be dry on Wednesday with sunny spells.
“It will be cloudier on south and west coasts though.
“Highest temperatures of 10C to 12C in a moderate southerly breeze.”
