WILF’S STEEL APPEAL

-

AARON WAN-BISSAKA reckons nothing is going to put Wilfried Zaha off his game right now.

Crystal Palace’s talisman is waiting to hear if his appeal against the extra one-game ban and an £10,000 FA fine for sarcastically clapping referee Andre Marriner when he was sent off at Southampton is successful.

Despite that worry, Zaha had six shots on goal – as many as the entire West Ham team – and thanks to an equaliser off Issa Diop, has grabbed five goals and made two assists.

Right-back Wan-bissaka (above, with Zaha) said: “Wilf showed how important he is. He showed what he is capable of doing. He always puts in 100 per cent.

“We created a lot of chances and we should have taken the three points. We will prevent any danger of getting relegated with performances like this.”
