Hospital’s €6m refurb is unveiled

Bon Secours, Limerick A HOSPITAL yesterday unveiled a €6million refurbishm­ent.

Limerick hurling captain Declan Hannon opened the new 2,500sq ft area at Bon Secours Hospital in the city.

The investment will also see enhancemen­ts across radiology, theatre, endoscopy and ICT units.

Bon Secours Health System chief Bill Maher said: “This hospital has a 190-year-old history in Limerick but we are very much focused on the future and every step we take along the way will be underpinne­d by our patient-first approach.”

The hospital had 17,000 admissions of inpatients and day-cases last year as well as thousands more consultati­on visits. Or are pink roses a sign?

Meghan, 37, was due to fly to the UK today before going to Morocco on Saturday with Harry, where she will take part in a “henna ceremony”.
