THE mum held in Dubai after calling her ex’s new wife a “horse” on Facebook sobbed and hugged her daughter on arriving back in the UK yesterday.

Laleh Shahravesh, 55, told of her “horrendous” ordeal as she faced a fine and possibly jail for breaking the Gulf state’s strict cyber-crime laws.

Five weeks after being arrested, Laleh was fined €722 and freed on Thursday.

She was met by daughter Paris, 14, in tearful scenes at Heathrow yesterday. She said amid hugs: “I’m really, really happy to be reunited.”

She added: “It’s been the most horrendous period... I’ve never been separated from Paris in this way. Every day part of me was dying from being away from her.”

Her voice full of emotion, she thanked Radha Stirling of campaign group Detained in Dubai, “who worked tirelessly to get me home”.

Ms Stirling said later: “It’s appalling that something as trivial as the accusation ended up costing her five weeks of her life and the traumatic experience of facing up to two years in prison.

“I think without the spotlight from the international press and raising awareness this would have gone on for at least six months.”

Laleh, of Richmond, Southwest London, had flown to Dubai for the funeral of her ex-husband Pedro, whose new wife Samah had officially complained about a threeyear-old Facebook post.

Laleh had told Pedro: “You married a horse, you idiot.”

Laleh and Paris yesterday and the offending post, right, in Farsi THE Duchess of Sussex’s sister has urged her to let the family meet her baby.

Samantha Markle, 54, then accused royal mumto-be Meghan of shutting them out of her life.

She said: “All of a sudden we don’t exist. You can’t hurt people like this, flip the script and play victim.”

Samantha believes it’s vital Meghan’s first child meets its grandfather Thomas Markle, despite the family fallout.

Half-sister Sam added: “I would like to think this child would have access to the best parts of grandad.”

It would take a “strong” person to be Meghan’s nanny and “not leave in tears”, she said.

She suggested Meghan, 37, should ask Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, for parenting advice.
