Mcgregor back at old boxing club as he is tipped for UFC return

Lewis Capaldi SINGER Lewis Capaldi is set to play Dublin next year as part of his first UK and Ireland tour.

Yesterday, the Scottish star, 22, announced details of his concerts that include a slot in the 3Arena on Sunday, March 8.

The news came prior to the release of his debut album Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent.

Capaldi also thanked fans ahead of the arena tour, adding: “To be announcing shows this size before my album is out is genuinely something I can’t comprehend.”

Tickets for the show start from €37.50 and will be available from Ticketmast­er next Friday.

A 50c charge will provide teams to assist fans with anxiety to attend gigs. Star with UFC titles UFC megastar Conor Mcgregor went back to his humble beginnings with a trip to Crumlin Boxing Club.

The fighter first put on a pair of gloves as a 12-year-old in the Dublin centre and discovered a passion for the fight game.

He turned up this time in a dapper blazer and white shirt but quickly got into a tracksuit to hit the ring.

Mcgregor, 30, who turned to mixed martial arts in his teens, did a training session on the pads as a group of youngsters watched on from the ropes on Wednesday.

The Notorious has been back in Dublin for the past number of weeks having spent a few months in the US with his partner Dee Devlin and their young children Conor Jnr and Croia. He announced last month on social media he was retiring from MMA but has kept training and is expected to make a comeback to the octagon later this year.
