Walk-off warning

- BY ANDY DUNN BY ANDY DUNN

HARRY Kane is ready to lead a walk-off if England players are racially abused during their next two Euro qualifiers.

The squad had a series of meetings over the past couple of days and decided enough is enough.

And they are prepared to risk the wrath of UEFA by leaving the field if subjected to racist taunts in the Czech Republic on Friday or Bulgaria on Monday.

Explaining the hardline stance, Tammy Abraham revealed: “Harry Kane said that if it happens and we’re not happy with it, we speak to the player and if he’s not happy, we all come off the pitch together.

“It’s a team thing. Don’t isolate one person, we’re a whole team. If it happens to one of us, it happens to all of us.” TAMMY ABRAHAM has said it was always his “dream” to play for England.

The Chelsea striker was courted by Nigeria, but now has his sights set on a long and successful career with the Three Lions. Abraham, 22, who qualified for Nigeria through his father, explained: “It’s nice to be wanted by two nations – it clearly means you’re doing something well.

“At the back of my head, I’ve always wanted to play for England. I was born and have grown up in England. I love both nations, but my dream was to play for England.”

And he is ready to continue his footballing education in the company of the country’s finest players. He added: “I’ve come here to steal ideas. Harry Kane is one of the best strikers in the world.

“I’ve come to learn the other parts of his game, add it to my game as well. You see his finishing, left foot, right foot, just take that into my game so when I go back I can work on myself and practise.”

Sheffield United keeper Dean Henderson, 22, has been called up to the England squad for the first time following the withdrawal of Tom Heaton through injury.
