I’m just keeping my head down & working on all my projects JOHNNY WARD YESTERDAY
FAIR City bad boy Johnny Ward said he has no time for a love life now he is back juggling work on the stage and screen.
The Dancing With The Stars finalist also denied rumours of romance with his professional partner Emily Barker, right, ahead of their reunion on the dance floor for the first ever live tour next month.
The 32-year-old told The Social Media: “No, I’m just really busy at the moment.
“I’m just keeping my head down and working on all my projects.
“I just find myself really lucky... and I’m really happy. Really, really happy.”
The former Love/hate star has returned to Carrigstown as kidnapping menace Ciaran Holloway.
And speaking of how he is finding the support from eager fans, who have dubbed him “easy on the eye” and welcomed his return to the Dublin soap with open arms, he added: “Ah no, there’s a few but it’s all lovely, it’s all nice stuff.” Preparing to pop the dancing shoes back on next month, after a summer on the stage as Gino Wyldes in Copper Face Jacks The Musical, the actor, who will also star in a panto this Christmas, said he feels blessed to have so much work. However, describing the juggle of double-jobbing wherever there is a crossover, he added: “Yeah, because the last bit of Coppers, it was while I was starting Fair City so that was difficult.
“I was doing Fair City in the daytime and Coppers in the night-time and obviously then Emily came over and we rehearsed for the tour in the INEC and then it is into Fair City... but I don’t know how long I’m going to be in Fair City.
“I don’t know how long it goes on for but then I’m in the INEC and then it’s panto in Limerick. It’s brilliant, it is completely different.”
