Duke, product lead at Google, addressed racial bias in Artificial Intelligence and highlighted there is no inclusivity with much of the data used in AI systems.

She said: “AI is trained to recognise patterns using data and is used regularly in online advertising, social media and other industries. Different races and genders are not fully represented in algorithms and therefore most data is not inclusive of these communities.

Johnny Cash

RTE is seeking homemovie footage of Johnny Cash from his tour in Ireland in 1963.

It is also on the hunt for Irish fans of the country music star to take part in a new film.

Then aged 31, Cash was an international superstar, having sold 11 million records and playing the biggest venues in the US.

But despite his fame, he chose to travel the length and breadth of Ireland performing in ballrooms.

Supported by Eileen Reid and The Cadets, they played in Cavan, Dundalk, Mallow, Limerick, Kilkenny, Mullingar, Athy, Galway, Rush and the National Stadium Dublin.

Contact docresearch@ rte.ie or phone 01 208 3519 if you have footage.
