Walk in the Park
WITH a recent run under his belt in Limerick, I like the chances of Oak Park in the Consistently The Best Maiden Hurdle.
This fellow would have won his maiden at Punchestown (won by subsequent scorer Instant Return) has he not tipped up at the second last. And he was considered good enough to contest the Grade 1 won by A Wave Of The Sea at Leopardstown in February.
He later flopped when pulled up in Clonmel but shaped with promise on his recent comeback run, finishing third behind Rebel Gold and Jon Ess in Limerick.
He’ll strip fitter today and might have the edge over Andrew Mcnamara’s (inset) Very Excellent.
