Million rooms at €32 a time

Travelodge is celebrating the reopening of its 563 UK hotels from Monday with one million rooms on sale for €32 or less if booked for this year.

The budget chain will start with a further 68 properties on top of the 62 kept open for key workers – and then reopen around 100 more a week after that.

The brand has also introduced its Travelodge Protect+ programme of cleaning and social distancing measures aimed at keeping guests and staff safe from coronavirus after lockdown.
