Lucy’s Living in the moment
LUCY Kennedy is hoping to move into the homes of six celebrities for the next series of Living With Lucy.
Filming gets underway this summer but the Dubliner said another season of Lodging With .... will be the plan B if restrictions don’t allow her to visit other people’s properties.
Last year was the first time she and her famous guests met in a rented mansion instead of giving us a glimpse into their pads.
Lucy told The Social Media: “We are going to do Living with Lucy, we will try and go wild and live with celebrities if they let me in.
“We are in the middle of discussing what to do but, either way, one of the shows will be back for six episodes in September. We are pushing to do Living because it is the stronger option and we all miss seeing inside people’s houses.
“It all depends on if it is safe
Will it be OK to go to the UK? We don’t know yet.”
As always, Lucy is holding out hope to get Piers Morgan over the line, especially after he sensationally quit Good Morning Britain earlier this year.
She said: “I really feel like Piers Morgan should succumb, it has been six years now. He needs to say yes to me. It is time for him to talk to me and let me into his house.”
Lucy said picking the names for the show is all about balance. She added: “I think Mary Lou Mcdonald would be brilliant and I would love to live with Leo Varadkar but I can’t do two politicians.
“The celebrities need to suit each other and the six people we pick need to make sense. We need to tick all the boxes across politics, sport and entertainment so there is a good mix.”
Nadine Coyle, Amy Huberman, Shane Long, Gemma Collins and Jedward are some of the big names we have seen on the Virgin Media show in the past.
But who has said no? “Jamie Dornan always says no because he heard I am obsessed with him.
“Some people say ‘I can’t do it now but I will do it again’ like Nathan Carter couldn’t do one season but he agreed to do it the following year.
“Everyone knows that the show is going to happen every year.”
