SASHA Lane, who plays Bobbi, has quickly become a familiar face in film and television following her breakthrou­gh role in American Honey.

Directed by Andrea Arnold, Lane starred opposite Shia Labeouf, who she went on to date briefly.

She has since played Hunter C-20 in the first season of the Disney+ streaming television series Loki, set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

She also starred in Hellboy, directed by Neil Marshall as well as Daniel Isn’t Real with film-maker Adam Egypt Mortimer.

Lane was born in Houston, Texas, and grew up in Dallas.

Her dad is African-american, and her mum, who is from New Zealand, is of European and Maori descent.

The 26-year-old actress has a two-year-old daughter, Astrid Cairo.

She told The Times:

“After I had my daughter I made the choice to be a single mom and then lockdown happened.”

JEMIMA Kirke, who will take on the role of Melissa, rose to fame in the smash hit HBO series Girls and going on to star in Netflix’s Sex Education.

Born in London, the 37-year-old was raised in New York.

Her father Simon is the former drummer of the rock bands Bad Company and Free, and her mother is vintage boutique owner Lorraine.

Following in her footsteps, Kirke attended the Rhode Island School of Design, where she studied art and graduated as a Bachelor of Fine Arts.

But she made her way onto the screen when her school friend, Lena Dunham, asked her to appear in her 2010 film Tiny Furniture.

This led to her breakout role as Jessa Johansson in Dunham’s Girls later on in 2012.

The actress starred in the comedy drama series for six seasons between 2011 to 2017.

Fans may also know the actress from Sex Education, where she played Hope, the stern headmistre­ss of Moordale Secondary School.

Kirke is mother to Rafella, 11, and nineyear-old Memphis.

She shares her children with her former husband Michael Mosberg.
