REVEALED: Maxwell’s armed and dangerous ‘bunkies’
She shares with ruthless dealers
GHISLAINE Maxwell is sharing her prison sleeping quarters with two serial drug dealers, one a ruthless crook with a machete conviction.
The 60-year-old former socialite bunks down alongside Manda May Rowell and Shacara Bryant, both serving five years.
Gun-toting Rowell was found in a motel room in April 2018 with two pounds of methamphetamine.
According to court documents obtained by the Mirror, when police raided the room, they found a loaded .380 semi-automatic pistol. Mobile phone pictures showed her “holding the firearm in that hotel room and operating the laser sighting device” on it.
Other photos showed her holding a different weapon.
Mum-of-two Bryant began her criminal life at 14, carrying out an aggravated battery but also being convicted of throwing a “deadly missile into a building”.
Maxwell’s “bunkies” have more than 70 convictions between them.
A source said: “Ghislaine’s bunkmates could not have come from more different upbringings than her.
“Whereas she was given anything and everything she wanted, life was not great for both Manda and Shacara.
“Shacara, in particular, had it very tough. From a young age, both got in with the wrong crowd, seeing them head down roads they refused to turn back on.”
Child sex trafficker Maxwell is serving 20 years in Florida’s Tallahassee prison and is housed in Unit B South, a dormitory of 120 beds separated into “cul-de-sacs” of two bunks in each.
Rowell was convicted of drugs offences at Council Bluffs, Iowa, in 2019. In the sentencing report, attorney Marc Krickbaum said: “She has been on probation on at least three different times and not been successful once.
“She has a very significant conviction for using a machete with about a footlong blade to threaten a person.”
Bryant, 36, was also sentenced, at Tampa, Florida, in 2019 for selling almost 100 grams of crack cocaine.
The former KFC worker has been arrested 37 times for more than 40 offences, mostly motoring crimes.
Maxwell has formed a close friendship inside with the infamous female killer, Narcy Novack.
Maxwell was jailed in June after being found guilty of the enticement of minors and sex-trafficking of underage girls for her ex-boyfriend Jeffrey Epstein to abuse.
The billionaire convicted pervert killed himself in a Manhattan jail cell in 2019 while awaiting a sextrafficking trial.
