A DIGGER driver who says she is the one who took Prince Harry’s virginity in a field behind a pub was not warned he was going to reveal details of the romp in his new book.
Sasha Walpole, 40, added that she expected their sexual encounter in 2001 to remain secret.
Harry, 38, wrote in his book Spare about his steamy encounter with an “older woman” when he was a teenager.
Sasha said she found out from a friend that the Duke of Sussex had spilled the beans in the memoir.
Sasha – who knew the prince from her time as a stable girl at royal residence Highgrove House near Tetbury, Glos – said she was so stunned she almost fell off her sofa.
She feared there were enough clues in the book for people to identify her as the woman who Harry was referring to.
Sasha said she felt he had intruded on her privacy by writing about the intimate encounter.
The mum-of-two added she decided to talk publicly because Harry had written about the episode.
Former groom Sasha said: surprised Harry put it in his book.
“It was such a long time ago, we were teenagers. I kept it secret for 21 years. I did it because Harry was a friend, regardless of whether he’s a prince or not.
“I didn’t invite any of this attention, but I know the hunt would have kept going until people found me.
“I don’t understand why he went into such detail. He could have said he lost his virginity and left it at that.
“But he described how it happened – in a field behind a pub. He didn’t name me but people who were there that night, or simply part of that social circle, would be able to work out it was me.
“Possibly, Harry could have thought about that before publishing. He could have found me if he had tried.”
Sasha, who said she had previously only told close friends about the sexual encounter, added: “Being exposed in a book is surreal. I’m here in my home in
Wiltshire with my husband Ian and my kids and – 21 years later – this.”
She told the Mail on Sunday: “I would never have spoken out if Harry hadn’t.
“If I was going to talk about it, I could have done so a long time ago. He brought it to my door by writing about it.”
Harry’s book says he lost his virginity behind a pub at 17 and that the woman treated him like a “young stallion”.
Sasha said Harry was actually 16 at the time and described how the royal’s security team collected him in a Ford Fiesta after the romp.
She said it happened at her 19th birthday party, describing it as “wham-bam between two friends”.
Sasha added the booze-fuelled sex followed the pair downing 10 shots of tequila, Baileys and sambuca.
She claimed the one-off encounter was in a meadow behind the Vine Tree Inn in Norton, Wilts, after they sneaked outside for a cigarette.
Sasha recalled: “He started to kiss me. It was intense. We both knew. It went from a kiss on to the floor pretty quickly.”
She added that after it was over, Harry hid in a phone box to avoid being seen before her friend drove a protection officer to collect him.
