Pop stars shone at the Grammys with Styles bagging two gongs – including the coveted Album of the Year.

The former 1D star also picked up the Best Pop Vocal Album award for last year’s Harry’s House and told the LA crowd: “This doesn’t happen to people like me very often.”
Other stars who dazzled included Adele, 34, who scooped Best Pop Solo Performance for divorce anthem Easy on Me. Weeping as she dedicated the win to son Angelo, 10, she said: “I wrote this when I was choosing to change my son’s life and he’s been nothing but humble and gracious and loving to me the whole time.” She added that her boyfriend, Rich Paul, had warned her not to cry if she won.
Isle of Wight newcomers Wet Leg were also at the Crypto.com Arena on Sunday to collect Best Alternative Music Album and Best Alternative Music Performance. “Thanks so much – what are we doing here?” they laughed of the “surprise”.
Sam Smith, 30, picked up Best Pop Duo/group Performance with Kim Petras for their single Unholy, after a horror film-themed performance. And Ozzy Osbourne, 74, won Best Rock Album and
Best Metal Performance. He wasn’t at the bash but sent the message: “I love you all and f*** off.”
Guests included Record of the Year Winner Lizzo, Shania Twain and Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez. However, the wins on the big night, where, were not without controversy. Beyonce was nominated in nine categories and won four, breaking the record for most wins with her 32nd. But she also had her album Renaissance snubbed in the Album of the Year category.
Harry, 29, was asked if he had expected her to win that one and replied: “I don’t think you can look at any of the nominees and not feel like they’re deserving.”
