The everlasting thriller starring Emilia Fox is back with five more gripping two-part mysteries.
It begins with a chilling police interview from 2004 with Calvin Dunn, a suspected serial killer who was never charged.
Back in the present day, a corpse found in an abandoned church sparks fears that the killer has resurfaced after 20 years. The body is found kneeling in a church, apparently strangled with a red PVC clothes line. Same church, same pose, same knot, same mysterious dead birds found nearby.
Pathologist Dr Nikki Alexander (Fox) and forensic expert Jack Hodgson (David Caves) are on the scene to help the police.
But Nikki wishes everyone would stop talking about Dunn – she can only judge the evidence she sees while the police are busy making assumptions.
Nikki meets the pathologist who conducted the original post-mortems and discovers that Dunn’s wife was a suspected victim – and he knows where her body is.

Rocking up in East London, the cooks must first show off their top dish after buying ingredients with a £40 budget. “We want to see their heritage, their culture, them on a plate,” says Poppy.
Then they have to deliver the perfect plate of pasta from scratch.
Big Has demos his ricotta, parmesan and black pepper ravioli drenched in a sage butter sauce. Can anyone else give him a run for his money?
Then two cooks are headed for the chopping block.
