Andrew, Branson & Clinton named in Epstein ‘sex tape’ evidence
NEWLY released court papers regarding Prince Andrew and the lurid Jeffrey Epstein saga have once more rocked the Royal Family.
A victim of the late American paedophile had alleged he filmed the Duke having sex with a pal of hers.
Sarah Ransome sent an email in 2016 claiming Andrew, Sir Richard Branson and former US president Bill Clinton were videoed on separate occasions romping with the unnamed girl.
The 38-year-old admitted three years later she made up the allegations.
But the fact Andrew’s name yesterday cropped up again over Epstein’s dealings sparked fury and embarrassment within royal circles.
Sources said the claims show the Duke had been “targeted with malice”.
But him once more being linked to the billionaire pervert will further pile the pressure on the King to banish his brother from public life.
Ransome’s allegations were outlined by lawyers for US attorney Alan Dershowitz, who was accused of having sex with Virginia Giuffre. She later retracted the allegation.
They claim Ransome’s false accusation about the sex tapes proved “her testimony was fabricated”.
The allegations came in the latest batch of legal papers released in the now-settled defamation case between Andrew accuser Ms Giuffre and Ghislaine Maxwell. Ransome wrote: “When my friend had sexual intercourse with Clinton, Prince Andrew and Richard Branson, sex tapes were filmed by Jeffrey.
“She managed to get a hold of some footage of the filmed sex tapes. I can confirm I have, with my own two eyes, seen the evidence of these sexual acts.
“I will be more than willing to swear under oath and testify in court over these sex tapes.” The email was released by New York Judge Loretta Preska. Ransome claims she kept copies of the footage, sending th em to “various locations throughout Europe” for safekeeping. She wrote: “I cannot send you the footage without her [ friend’s] consent due to consequences to her safety.”
Ransome also claimed her friend had sexual relationships with Mr Dershowitz. He denied any wrongdoing.
A royal source said last night: “Such allegations against Andrew are extremely serious.
“Never before has he been accused of appearing in a sex tape. He doesn’t know Ms Ransome.”
In July 2019, New Yorker journalist Connie Bruck wrote: “Ransome told me she had invented the tapes to draw attention to Epstein’s behaviour.”
Last night Virgin Group said on behalf of Sir Richard: “Sarah Ransome’s claims are baseless and unfounded.”
