Evil child rapist moves into home near scene of abuse

Sicko, 65, who abused sisters now in halfway house

- EXCLUSIVE BY DANNY DE VAAL news@irishmirror.ie

AN evil sex beast who repeatedly raped two sisters was released from prison yesterday and put into a halfway house near where the sordid abuse took place.

The 65-year-old brute, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was initially caged for 18 years in 2013.

He pleaded guilty to 11 charges of sexual assault of a child, nine of rape, and one charge of oral rape on the two siblings from Kildare between July 2003 and February 2010.

He also admitted he sexually assaulted two other victims on two separate occasions in January 2008 and December 2009.

But the twisted sicko walked free from the Midlands Prison yesterday and was placed into a halfway house in Kildare.

It is just kilometres away from the home of his youngest victim and near where the crimes took place. He is originally from Scotland and has previous convictions for sexually abusing two girls.

He was placed on the sex offender’s register in Scotland but fled to Ireland in the late

1990s while being hunted by cops for a separate crime. He then carried out sexual abuse on vulnerable girls in Ireland years later.

A source close to the family told the Irish Mirror: “It’s absolutely despicable that this monster has been released back into the same community where he committed his crimes.

“They were only told in December he was going to be released and it took the shine out of their Christmas.

“His victims are being re-traumatized. He was given several years in prison and is now free but his victims were given a life sentence. They will never forget what was done to them.

“They’re absolutely terrified they could bump into him on the street or in the supermarket.” The source also asked why the man wasn’t deported.

They added: “The only connection he has to Kildare is its the county where he committed his crimes. How has this been allowed to happen?

“The Government has a duty to protect their citizens from this monster.”

The Irish Prison Service said it does not “comment on individual cases”.
