On paper, this should be an isle of dreams .. so crack on

AFTER 10 series and hundreds of contestants, it’s about time Love Island brought back its A-listers for an All Stars series.

-

And this lot are trying to find love in the villa for a second time, jetting out to Cape Town in South Africa for the new season, which kicks off on Monday on ITV2, and for the first time ever on ITV1 as well.

It’s quite the collective, with a few exes thrown in the mix and some stars with incredible stories to tell of their time since they first made a name for themselves on the show – their glow-ups are enough to write a Hollywood script about.

Speaking of which, Maya Jama could perhaps join Chris Taylor, who bagged a cameo in the smash hit Barbie, in Tinseltown.

The Love Island host – who took the helm this time last year – wants to “try [her] hand at acting” in 2024, after this “incredible series” of course.

Let’s see who couples up with whom.

■Love Island: All Stars is on Monday at 9pm on ITV1, ITV2 and ITVX.

Georgia Harrison, 29, right, Essex Series 3

Campaigned tirelessly after she was the victim of a spiteful act of revenge porn from Big Brother contestant Stephen Bear, who has recently been released from prison. So she says she wants to “have some fun” in the last year of her 20s after such “heavy and pretty serious” times. Wants to find a boyfriend to “make Tiktok videos with” as well as show off her new boobs, which are “ready to rock and roll”.

Georgia Steel, 25, York

Series 4

Trained actress Georgia says: “I’m 25, I have a house, a cat, a nice car - I have everything in life but a boyfriend, so why not give it a go?”

Demi Jones, 25,

Portsmouth Series 6

Returning to the villa after getting the all-clear from thyroid cancer, Demi says: “I lost a lot of confidence with my health issues over the last couple of years but I’ve been smashing the gym this year, finding my confidence again and I’ve got it back. So, let’s find a man!”

Kaz Kamwi, 29, Essex Series 7

Viewers saw real love develop between Kaz and her best mate Liberty, who she is returning with. Kaz says: “I’ve been told I need to keep my bum looking great. I’ve not been doing squats for no reason.”

Liberty Poole, 24, Birmingham

Series 7

Had her heart broken, but won the hearts of the nation when she walked out on Jake Cornish in 2021. Liberty says: “I’m a hopeless romantic and tend to fall in love after a week.”

Hannah Elizabeth, 33, Liverpool

Series 1

Found love, briefly, on the show and got engaged to boyfriend Jon Clark in the villa in 2015, but the wedding never happened and she has ruled out saying yes to a fellow contestant this series. Hannah says: “Now that I’m that bit older, I try to take things a little slower.”

Toby Aromolaran, 24, Essex

Series: 7

Had plenty of success with the ladies – including returning Islander Kaz – in 2021 but has still ended up single. Toby says:

“It’s a running joke with my family and friends that for me to find something serious with a girl, I would need to go on

Love Island. They call it my version of a dating app.”

Jake Cornish, 26, Weston-supermare Series 7

Foot-loving Jake says he has “matured” since his break-up from Liberty, and insists there is no bad blood between the pair. We’ll see...

Mitchel Taylor, 27, Sheffield Series 10

Just six months after his first stint, “Messy” Mitch does not intend to be so messy... “It just depends on what day of the week it is,” shrugs the gas engineer.

Messy Mitch Mondays, perhaps?

Anton Danyluk, 29. Lanarkshire

Series 5

Most famous for crying with joy when “iconic” Craig David performed in the villa, still his highlight from the series. “If I get seen out, people always ask me, ‘Does your mum still shave your bum?’ That just doesn’t go away.”

Luis Morrison, 29, London Series 1

Says being in the first series was “the best experience of my life” and adds: “I’m a lot older and wiser, so I know what I am getting myself into.”

Chris Taylor, 33, Leicester Series 5

Says he experienced a “tumble dryer of emotions” when a chat with Love Island fan Margot Robbie turned into a cameo in the Barbie film.
