Hart tells of death fear on flaming jet

KEVIN Hart has said he “almost died” during a flight in which he saw “flames coming out of the front of the plane”.
The 44-year-old American comedian discussed the incident as well as his new heist movie Lift.
Reflecting on his real-life plane scare, he told The Graham Norton Show: “I almost died.
“We were landing and as we did the front wheel broke, and I just saw flames coming out of the front of the plane.
“It was one of those moments when I thought, ‘This is it’, and I realised that if it happens I was cool with where I was in life. I didn’t panic.”
Joining Hart on Norton’s sofa was Modern Family actress Sofia Vergara.
RTE star Jennifer Zamparelli has praised a couple for finding instant love on First Dates.
2FM host Jen said it’s unusual to see a couple hit it off on the reality TV show in the way Alan Dunne, 30, and Megan O’shea, 31, have.
The pair, who appeared on Thursday night’s episode, have been inseparable since filming back in August.
The happy pair have even met each other’s families.
Jennifer, below, gushed: “This rarely happens, it’s amazing.”
And speaking on Jen’s 2FM show yesterday, Megan and Alan revealed just what is the secret to their love.
Megan said: “You just try to be yourself and that’s the way it has been for us together.
“I am 100% one of the lucky ones. In
Alan and Megan fairness, the show put a lot of thought into who they match you with and they are very caring in making sure you are comfortable.”
Mayo man Alan, who joked he had been in retirement for a year prior to going on the show, also admitted he struck it lucky.
He said: “I had an open mind going on to the show, but it’s lovely to actually go on and meet Megan, I got very lucky.
“We never would have crossed paths otherwise.
“I was in retirement for more than a year beforehand.
“I was just taking a break but now is the time to go.”
Megan, who is from Co Kildare, revealed that she only went on the show due to pressure from her sister. She said: “My sister sent me the link and begged me to sign up.
“I’m a 31-year-old woman and anyone who has been dating as long as I have will know it’s a bit hit and miss, so it’s great how it has worked out.”
