Jess a quickie... with Golden Globes

-

JESS BRAVE

Forget Hollywood action heroes. If you want to see real bravery in the face of adversity, look no further than Andrew ‘Moriarty’ Scott and Jonathan ‘Bridgerton’ Bailey at Netflix’s afterparty. Not only did they laugh off their inadvertent “who wore it best” contest during the bash at LA’S Spago restaurant, but NOTHING says “I’m a fearless daredevil” MORE than wearing... ...all white. ...to a party. ...serving ravioli canapes.

(And that was one of the least messy things on the menu).

JESS A FAMILY

NIGHT OUT

There was a sheer bevvy of mothers and sons at this year’s Globes. Bradley Cooper, 49, took his mum Gloria, 66.

Reese Witherspoon, 47 (yes, really!), posed with her son Deacon, 20. And Natalie Portman, 42, cosied up with her Natalie long-lost “son” Mark and Mark Hamill, 72. “Now I have finally met my ‘mother’,” quipped Star Wars legend Hamill on X/twitter.

Considering Nat had Luke and Leia a long time ago, in a galaxy far far away, she’s ageing almost as well as the perennially-fresh-faced Reese (who surely has a portrait in her attic).

I wonder what makes Queen Amidala, sorry, Natalie look so youthful? Baths of bantha milk and Endor forest honey perhaps?...

JESS’S LOOKALIKE

OF THE WEEK:

Golden Globe nominee Barry Keoghan and Shrek’s Donkey.

Can’t see the similarity?

Well, if you’ve seen Saltburn...

You’ll know I’m not talking about the face.

Meryl Streep might have failed to get her hands on a gong...

But she did get them on a Gosling.

So, frankly, she’s the biggest winner of all.
