CRECHE attack hero Leanne Flynn Keogh is now out of hospital, it has emerged.

The Irish Mirror has confirmed she left the Mater Hospital in central Dublin just before Christmas.

It came after she suffered serious injuries in the attack at Gaelscoil Cholaiste Mhuire on the city’s Parnell Square East November 23.

Ms Flynn Keogh and three children suffered injuries in the attack.

A five-year-old girl is still in hospital recovering from her injuries, but the two other children were released on the night of the attack.

Dubliner Ms Flynn Keogh spent a week in intensive care following the attack and was then transferred to the high-dependency unit before being released in time for Christmas.

News of her discharge comes just over a week after the mum of the little girl seriously injured in the incident revealed she will have to “relearn everything”.

She said her daughter has now entered the third phase of her recovery.

The woman issued the update on a special Gofundme page called Barrog do Chailin Beag’ [A Hug for a Little Girl] last week.

She wrote: “She has done really well thus far and the medical team is very happy with her improvement.

“Once again, she is so strong and we are proud to be by her side supporting her, guiding her, and above all loving her every step of the way.”

Riad Bouchaker, 50, of no fixed abode has been charged with three counts of attempted murder, one of producing and possessing a 36cm kitchen knife, three counts of assault causing harm and one of assault causing serious harm.

He is in custody and will next appear at Cloverhill District Court in west Dublin on Wednesday.
