Judge thinks act is smashing
I am very excited... There’s one rule, be as naughty as you want
BRUNO Tonioli was a smash at the Britain’s Got Talent auditions when he hit the golden buzzer so hard it broke.
The judge, 68, decided on his potential winner during just the second act at the London
Palladium yesterday.
Bruno said of the dancer: “I almost cried because it reminded me of me at their age.
“People don’t understand how hard it is to succeed as a dancer, you do it for nothing, you do it for love. I felt the love. It came from my heart. I had to do it.”
The full details of his golden buzzer act will be revealed on the show in a few months.
Alesha Dixon, 45, posted a photo of the smashed buzzer on her Instagram page. The auditions for the ITV series only began yesterday with the judging line-up again consisting of Simon Cowell, Amanda
Holden, Bruno and Alesha, with Ant and Dec back on hosting duties.
Simon, 64, arrived in a skin-tight black top made by X-bionic. Once out in front of the audience at the London Palladium, he said: “I’m very excited. We don’t know who is going to come on, we’ll meet people together. There’s one rule, be as naughty as you want.”
Amanda, 52, added: “What I’d really love this year is for a massive group of people to win. Imagine if a choir would win.”
One man the judges will not be rooting for though is the would-be intruder who tried to get inside the venue.
After he caused a bit of a stir, the police were called and officers were seen leading him away.
Britain’s Got Talent is set to return to ITV1 and ITVX in the spring
