Dublin

Croke Park, 7.30pm (TG4) BAR Nially Scully and Colm Basquel, Dublin fielded a third string side in the O’byrne Cup, losing the final to Longford.

Dessie Farrell is resting his older heads like Stephen Cluxton, while he’s without Davy Byrne this year.

Monaghan were ripped to pieces by Donegal in the Mckenna Cup semifinal, but worse still lost All Star Conor Mccarty and Sean Jones to injury. Odds: Home: 2/9 Draw: 10/1 Away: 4/1

VERDICT: Dublin Tyrone v Roscommon Tomorrow, Healy Park, 3.45pm (TG4)

THE Rossies, with Enda Smyth flying, blew Tyrone out of the water in Round 1 last year.

Tyrone lost All Stars Ronan Mcnamee and Niall Sludden in the off season, and Richie Donnelly, who was starring with Trillick.

They have a lot of players with Sigerson commitments, including the Canavan brothers – Darragh and Ruairi – and the promising Seanie O’donnell. Odds: Home: 8/15 Draw: 7/1 Away: 2/1 VERDICT: Roscommon

v Monaghan

Derry

Tralee, 5.30pm (RTE) REMATCH of last year’s All-ireland semi-final, where Kerry pulled clear in the dying stages.

Jack O’connor says Kerry are in better fettle now than in 2023 when they lost all four away games after a late team holiday. The Cliffords are sitting out the first two games, but with Shane Mcguigan (inset) playing, Mckenna Cup winners Derry have the ammo to sneak a win here.

Odds: Home: 4/7 Draw: 7/1 Away: 15/8 VERDICT: Derry

v Mayo Tomorrow, Pearse Stadium, 1.45pm (TG4)

HOW Galway manage their key men this year will be crucial. Shane Walsh has had another long year with county and Kilmacud. Damien Comer said this week he may not be able to play all the games, while Sean Kelly says that his ankle might never be 100% again.

Mayo flew through the League last year and won it, but some big players looked overcooked come summer. A fully fit Tommy Conroy will boost them. Odds: Home: 4/5 Draw: 13/2 Away: 11/8

VERDICT: Galway

Kerry v
