€14.6M LOTTO JACKPOT IS BIGGEST ONLINE WINNER

THE Lotto jackpot worth over €14.6million scooped on Saturday night is believed to be the biggest sum ever won by an online player.

National Lottery bosses issued an appeal for punters to check their numbers carefully, as they revealed the location of Ireland’s newest multi-millionaire.

The lucky winner is set to collect an life-changing prize of €14,674,966 after correctly matching all six numbers plus the bonus. The winning numbers were 3, 8, 10, 24, 32, 41 and bonus 30.

A National Lottery spokesperson said: “It’s sure to be a weekend of celebrations for an online player in Dublin who has become the first jackpot winner of 2024.

“Not only that but the €14.67million winner has also taken a list of titles with their massive win including highest online Lotto jackpot winner and seventh-highest jackpot winner since the game began.

“It is undoubtedly shocking for the winner who will see the winning amount on their ticket when they log into their National Lottery account.

“As Ireland’s newest multi-millionaire, we are advising the winner to make contact with our prize claims team.”

The Lotto has revealed this is the seventh largest Lotto jackpot ever won in Ireland.

The top prize had climbed to the huge sum as it had not been won since October 11 last year when two players in Dublin shared a €7.7million prize.

It has been confirmed the winning ticket was bought online by someone in the Dublin area.

A notification and an email has been sent to the winner, who as of yesterday evening had not come forward.
