ISLE OF WIGHT: JEWEL OF THE SOUTH

- GRANTCHESTER

Leonard is throwing himself into his work at the halfway house at the expense of his personal life. Disaster strikes tonight as one of the housemates, Alfie, is found dead.

Although the scene has been staged to look like a suicide, it doesn’t take long for Geordie (Robson Green) to launch a murder inquiry. And suspicion then falls on the other residents.

As if the killing wasn’t devastating enough, Leonard is upset that his management style is being called into question, and the locals are gossiping – they want him to close down.

For Will (Tom Brittney), the murder only deepens his crisis of faith and leaves him with a burden of guilt, as Alfie tried to pray with him the night before his death, but Will walked out.

Meanwhile, Kathy is excited to be offered a promotion at work, but Geordie’s lukewarm response knocks the wind right out of her sails.
