THE heavily inked daughter of Michael Jackson spent more than two hours in make-up ahead of her Grammys appearance to cover up all 80 of her tattoos.

Actor and model Paris Jackson posted a time-lapse video detailing her transformation.

The 25-year-old arrived at Sunday night’s awards showing off her bare skin in a strapless cut-out black dress, matching black heels, a black clutch bag and earrings.

She said: “I like switching things up.

“I love my tattoos, I love my piercings, I love all the body modification stuff… also sometimes I don’t want it to distract from the fashion

I’m wearing.”

In August 2022, the Swarm star revealed how her first tattoo came to be. “It’s on my boob; it’s an alien,” she said.

ANNIE Lennox called for a ceasefire in Gaza as she paid an emotional tribute to Sinead O’connor and Shane Macgowan at the Grammys.

The Scottish singer-songwriter sang Nothing Compares 2 U for Sinead during the 66th annual awards ceremony in Los Angeles on Sunday.

While Annie performed, the faces of stars who had passed away in the last year appeared on screen behind her.

These included Sinead, who died last July at 56, and Shane, who passed away in November aged 65.

Following the moving rendition of the 1990 classic song, Lennox, 69, raised her fist in the air and shouted “Artists for ceasefire. Peace in the

Shane Macgowan world” in a call for an end to the war in Gaza. The move may even have been inspired by Sinead, who was not

one to shy away from using her platform to speak her truth.

She made headlines in October 1992 after she tore up an image of the Pope on Saturday Night Live in a protest against sex abuse in the Catholic church.

A petition from Artists Call for Ceasefire Now was sent to President Joe Biden last year was signed by Drake, Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez, Dua Lipa, Alyssa Milano, Joaquin Phoenix, Macklemore and Jessica Chastain among others.

Lennox’s performance was one of the standout moments of a night where Taylor Swift made history as she became the first artist to win Best Album for a fourth time.

The Grammys were also a great evening for Miley Cyrus, who took home her first win for Best Pop Solo Performance with her song Flowers.

The tune, from her 2023 album Endless Summer Vacation, saw off Billie Eilish, Doja Cat, Olivia Rodrigo and Taylor Swift.
