COUNTRY music star Shania Twain and metal legends AC/DC will come to Dublin this summer.
Don’t Impress Me Much singer Shania will play North Dublin’s Malahide Castle on Friday, June 28, where her special guest will be British singer Rag ‘N’ Bone Man.
The 58-year-old performed at the capital’s 3Arena in September last year, as part of her Queen Of Me Tour.
She continues to be one of the world’s most popular artists with more than
100million global album sales.
Tickets for her Malahide gig will go on sale this Thursday.
Meanwhile, Aussie veterans AC/DC, fronted by Brian Johnson, 76, will play Croke Park in the capital this August as part of the band’s European tour Power Up.
The Highway To Hell hitmakers had long been rumoured to play GAA
HQ after it emerged in
November that venue was set to host a sixth major concert this year.
It has already been confirmed that Coldplay will play four gigs at Croker at the end of August and start of September while Bruce Springsteen is set to perform at the stadium in May as part of his upcoming Irish tour.
AC/DC will play Croke Park on Saturday, August 17, for what will be the final concert of the band’s 21-show European tour.
The Power Up Tour will be the band’s first in Europe for eight years and will see them performing at some of the biggest stadiums across the continent, including in Germany, Italy, Spain, The Netherlands, Switzerland, England, Belgium and France.
AC/DC last performed in Dublin in 2015.
Tickets for the gig at Croke Park are set to go on sale from 9am this Friday via Ticketmaster.ie. Tickets are priced from €86.25.
