FORMER Xpose star Lisa Cannon has revealed she has given birth to her first child “on the stormiest of nights” last month.

The Virgin Media presenter and her husband, ex-welsh rugby player Richard Keatley shocked fans after they announced the arrival of Seren.

Sunday Mirror columnist Lisa, 45, posted: “Richard and I are tickled pink this Valentine’s Day to announce the birth of our beautiful daughter, Seren Laura Cannon Keatley. “A star was born on January 22 – the stormiest of nights with the help of an amazing team of doctors and mighty midwives and National Maternity Hospital thanks to them I safely delivered our precious daughter Seren Laura.

“Thank you to ALL at Holles Street Hospital, the brilliant consultants to the unsung angels in NICU for looking after us both.”

Lisa revealed Seren means star in Welsh – a nod to her husband Richard’s home country.

And Lisa’s mother Laura passed away in 2008 from cancer when she was just 59 and her daughter will now carry on her grandmother’s name also.

She wrote: “She certainly is the brightest star in the firmament. Laura, is in honour of my beautiful mother – a proud and noble name.

“Seren came like a comet blazing her trail into this world, she knew exactly how to make her birthday unforgettable and serendipitous. I’ll spend my life loving her

and being grateful for it. We would like to thank our parents, families and incredible friends for all their love, kindness and unwavering support. You are our sunbeams and we love you all dearly.

“‘Where there is great love there are always miracles’. Thank you to the gods for shining their light on us. We are now truly blessed.”

And in a special message to her daughter, she said: “Twinkle, twinkle little star.

“We love you infinitely... Let our magical adventures begin Seren... Love Mum and Dad.”

Lisa has always been open about wanting to have children and has previously said she was “open to fertility treatment” if medical intervention was needed.
