MOBSTER Cornelius Price’s grave still has no headstone a year after his death – but it has a statue of a lurcher dog, a floral cap and a bottle of mayo.

The gangster, suspected of at least four murders died on Sunday, February 19, last year, after he contracted a brain disease in 2021.

He was buried at Rochdale Cemetery in Manchester after a secret ceremony.

And his grave was covered in lavish floral tributes in which he was described as “legend,” “golden balls”, and “king” as well as colourful wreaths of boxing gloves and vehicles.

Our exclusive images show fresh floral tributes including a large red and white “Boss” arrangement along with a floral white Volkswagen van and red rose arrangements at each corner.

Four steel barriers with red velvet rope surround it.

Tricolour flags as well as numerous baseball caps, a Captain Morgan’s rum as well as the squeezy bottle of mayonnaise have been placed along with candle holders with photographs of Price on them.

The rum is believed to be a reference to a video of Price – also known as Nailyboy – celebrating the death of rival thug Robbie Lawlor with a shot.

Price, 42, was a key player in the Drogheda feud that that claimed four lives. But he fled to Britain after the brutal killing and dismemberment of teenager Keane Mulready-woods – believed to have been carried out by Lawlor.

He was named in Britain’s High Court as a leading member of the Price-maguire gang involved in the feud and a major drug dealer and was facing trial over an alleged role in a kidnap and blackmail plot.

However, in October 2021 he was struck down with the brain disease limbic encephalitis and never stood trial.

And shortly after his death, his daughter Alisha sensationally claimed to this reporter that her dad “had nothing to do” with the murders of Willie Maughan and Ana Varslavane who went missing in April 2015.

She also sensationally claimed the person responsible for killing the couple is “a major Dublin drug dealer” who is still out there.

She added: “My dad took William Maughan under his wing to help him.

“My father and his associates had nothing to do with it.”

No expense was spared for his funeral last year where three top-of-the-range yellow, maroon and white Lamborgini cars led the mobster’s funeral cortege in Rochdale in Greater Manchester as family and friends followed behind carrying Price’s wooden

coffin.
