NOW KITTS IS WARNED OFF
DYLAN KITTS, the jockey under investigation for his controversial ride aboard Hillsin at Worcester last July, has been issued with an exclusion order.
A British Horseracing Authority probe is still ongoing after Hillsin, then trained by Chris Honour, was banned for 40 days after his tenderly handled third to Bensini in a handicap hurdle for conditional jockeys at the West Midlands course.
But 7lb claimer Kitts (right), who partnered 11 winners, has now been warned off for his failure to co-operate.
“The BHA can today confirm that Mr Dylan Kitts has been issued with a disciplinary officer exclusion order as a result of his failure to co-operate with an investigation,” said a statement from racing’s governing body.
“This order, which prohibits Mr Kitts from attending premises licensed by the
BHA and/or associating with racing’s participants, has been issued after Mr Kitts failed to provide relevant information requested by the BHA’S integrity team as part of an ongoing investigation.”
The BHA also revealed Milton Harris has withdrawn his appeal against a Licensing Committee ruling that he was “not a fit and proper person to hold a training licence”.
At a hearing last month, the 64-year-old was found to have been in breach of conditions attached to his licence, to have bullied fellow trainer Simon Earle and to have behaved “inappropriately” towards two teenage female employees of his Warminster stable.
