Kielty’s congrats to his early early wife
Late Late host’s joy at Deeley’s This Morning gig
LATE Late host Patrick Kielty has congratulated his wife Cat Deeley on her new role as This Morning presenter.
She and co-host Ben Shephard have been officially installed as the full-time presenters following the departure of Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield last year.
They have both filled in on the sofa of the ITV favourite in recent months but last week they were finally revealed as the new hosts.
Kielty, 53, who assumed the hot seat in the Late Late Show last autumn following the departure of Ryan Tubridy, took to social media to share his congratulations to 47-year-old Cat.
He posted a gorgeous series of videos and photos of his wife revealing he was never a “morning person” until he met her.
The video was focused on the fun that the couple have together set to the song Here Comes The Sun by The Beatles.
Paddy, from Dundrum, Co Down, wrote: “I didn’t know what a morning person actually was until I met this woman.
“She gets up every day with a smile on her face. At 5.30am, whistling in the shower, smile on her face.

“Then downs two coffees, and gives you the look. The ‘What the f**k’s wrong with you, let’s do this,’ look. It’s not a pretend smile.
“And it’s not just some mornings. It’s every morning. Which is bloody difficult because she’s married to me.
“I should also mention she likes a chat. To anyone. About anything. Anywhere.
“If there’s anyone in the world made for a show called @thismorning, it’s this human.

Cat has huge experience in TV with one of her early roles being a host for Hitlist UK alongside Edith Bowman.
In 1998, she graduated to becoming part of SMTV Live with Ant & Dec before taking on the presenting role for BBC talent show Fame Academy.
And it was this last job which held significant importance for Cat, as it was where she first met Patrick.
The couple tied the knot in 2012 and went on to have two sons Milo, seven, and five-year-old James.
