KINGHORN BACK IN SCOTS SQUAD

SCOTLAND have been boosted by the return of Blair Kinghorn for Saturday’s match with England – but Darcy Graham looks set to again miss out.

Full-back Kinghorn (right) is one of five new faces added to the squad ahead of the Calcutta Cup clash.

Edinburgh duo WP Nel and Hamish Watson, Magnus Bradbury of Bristol Bears and Scarlets’ Alex Craig have all augmented Gregor Townsend’s forward options.

Josh Bayliss, Ross Mccann and

Javan Sebastian drop out of contention completely as

Scotland look to bounce back from their controversial defeat to

France.

It looks like Graham also won’t be available for the Murrayfield clash.

The Edinburgh winger was pencilled in to return this week after missing the first two games of the Six Nations due to injury.

But the Hawick flier remains

subject to “further assessment” after tweaking his groin in training with the national squad last week.

Meanwhile, Edinburgh have shown the size of their ambition by signing giant lock Rob Carmichael.

The 6ft 11in forward, who qualifies for Scotland, has signed on loan until the end of the season from Leicester Tigers ahead of a three-year deal.

Carmichael said of the club that sits fifth in the United Rugby

Championship table: “This is a massive move for me and an incredible opportunity I’ve been given. I’m delighted to join and I’m really glad I’ve been able to make the move to Edinburgh early on loan.

“I’ve only heard great things about the club. I’ve wanted to live in Scotland my whole life so I’m glad I’m able to make the move now. Edinburgh is an incredible city, while my parents and whole extended family are really excited I’ve joined a Scottish club.”
