‘I know what happened to Fungie... & Shergar’

US pet psychic claims to have answers to animal mysteries

AN American pet psychic has claimed she knows where Fungie has died – and reckons Shergar was stolen by a jockey and brought to another country.

The famous dolphin was last seen in in 2020 after more than 35 years in the waters off Dingle, Co Kerry, and locals have been baffled by his disappearance.

The friendly bottlenose would swim alongside fishermen’s boats sailing to and from Dingle harbour.

Now, Californian pet psychic Laura Stinchfield reckons Fungie’s body is near “three lights from his cove”.

Speaking from California, the psychic, who has appeared on The Ellen Degeneres Show, looked at pictures of much loved Fungie and spoke directly to him.

She said: “I don’t get that he is alive anymore. It’s weird that they didn’t find his body.

“He said that he went to one of his favourite coves to pass away and he showed me the rocks.”

Speaking to Niall Boylan on his Nighttime Talk show on Classic Hits, she said: “He says his spirit is still there and he says that some people feel like they still see him there.

“He is saying that sometimes he shows his spirit there but it’s not really his body.

“That area where he was… is there a lighthouse? He said he saw three lights from his cove. Do you know where that is? I think the three lights are out on the water... It looks like it’s steep above him. The rocks are high over the cove. It’s not a beach.”

While Stinchfield said lost animals are not her specialty she can “definitely try” to help locals locate the missing “cute” and “big” dolphin.

After the interview Niall Boylan commented: “It was a wacky show but who knows? If it leads to someone finding Fungie, that would be great. People need closure and maybe the people of Kerry know where those three lights are that she mentioned... Stranger things have happened.”

She also was asked if she could find Shergar, who went missing in 1983.

Numerous theories were that the champion racehorse was kidnapped by members of the IRA, killed or sold to another country.

The equine equivalent of the Lord Lucan mystery, there has been no ending to the riddle, with the IRA never officially claiming responsibility and Shergar’s body never found.

She said: “So he’s definitely passed away now. He said he was taken to another country by the little guy… which probably would be the jockey? He says the little guy took me to another country. I see a number on the jockey. He said he left at night-time.

“He said he was taken to another country and he had lots of girlfriends.” She added: “If someone was using him for breeding you think that would come out like.”

Stinchfield is an internationally renowned pet psychic and people medium. For decades she has studied animal behaviour, training and animal communication.

She uses telepathy to have two-way conversations with live animals, deceased animals and people, and anyone who cannot speak for themselves. Her services are used by animal owners, trainers, behaviourists, vets and rescue groups as well as people who want to reach out to their loved ones in spirit, their young children, their disabled child or family members in a coma.
