‘Murder accused’s pics are sickening’
AN Irishman accused over the “love triangle” killing of his flatmate in Spain says he’s “chilling like a villain” as he awaits trial.
Wayne Walsh is facing almost two decades in jail if convicted of murdering Dubliner Carl Carr.
But his alleged victim’s family say the 36-year-old is making a mockery of the Spanish justice system after posting videos and photos of his carefree lifestyle on bail.
Walsh is accused of punching Mr Carr in the face with a knuckleduster while another Irishman stabbed him in Cabo Roig, Alicante.
It’s claimed they carried out a “Reservoir Dogs” crime scene cleanup before burying his body by a motorway with a Spanish accomplice.
A judge is expected to set a trial date at a court hearing next month in Torrevieja near the Costa Blanca city of Alicante.
But Walsh, out on bail despite his homicide and possession of unlawful weapons charges and a recent separate drugs arrest, has made it clear in a series of astonishing Tiktok posts the thought of a long prison term is not worrying him.
One video he posted recently on the social media app, where he uses the controversial “chilling like a villain” tagline with a clover emoji shows him driving a speedboat bare-chested with shades on alongside the caption: “Roll on the summer.”
In another picture he locks lips during a day out at the beach with a pretty blonde whom expat friends have described as a new girlfriend.
He has also filmed himself dancing at a festival with a mystery woman.
The brazen influencer, followed by thousands every day, professes his devotion for her with several “I love you” messages.
Mr Carr’s family yesterday accused Walsh of “complete insensitivity” with his posts and his Tiktok tagline choice. His mum Marie Carr was too upset to speak yesterday.
But a close friend said: “They have seen some of the photos Walsh is posting and are absolutely disgusted.
“It’s sickening for them that he’s not being kept behind bars when he’s being accused of such serious crimes.
“It turns their stomach to see he’s gloating about his sunshine lifestyle on social media

Walsh says he’s ‘chilling like a villain’ waiting for Costa trial
when they feel he should at least be keeping a low profile and ideally hiding in a hole somewhere.
“Carl’s mum is still having sleepless nights over what happened to her son. Seeing his alleged killer out on a boat and having lovely
restaurant meals is making her suffer even more. The family just can’t believe this is real.”
Another said: “Walsh doesn’t think he’s doing any prison time by the looks of these pictures. Why would he write ‘Roll on the summer’ otherwise?
“It beggars belief he can be so insensitive. I hope the Spanish authorities get wind of all this and bring him up over it.” The case against Walsh was laid bare for the first time late last year. The alleged knifeman, identified as Kilkenny-born Simon Fahy, died last October aged 31 after Spanish authorities tried to have him extradited from Ireland.
Prosecutors allege Fahy caught Mr Carr having sex with Walsh’s parttime British model ex-partner Milly Leonard, 28. The indictment says they attacked their alleged victim “by common and prior agreement, acting with the intention of ending his life” on September 17 2018.
Five suspects, all currently on bail, are due to go on trial including Walsh’s ex Leonard and two other British women who are charged with concealment.
