EXCLUSIVE CELEBRITY Big Brother lawyers are screening Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh’s bitching sessions, with only snippets of their gossip making it to air.

The pair swapped stories about James Corden, who

Sharon said is a sycophantic name-dropper, Ellen Degeneres, who she said was vomit-inducing, and Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, described as a “C-word”.

But ITV’S legal and compliance teams are having to sift through a mountain of footage to whittle down the pair’s catty comments into content that is suitable for air.

A clip of their put-down session aired on Celebrity Big Brother spin-off Late and Live on ITV2 on Wednesday night but only once editors had finally given it the all-clear.

While discussing namedroppers, Sharon, 71, told the Princess of Wales’ uncle Gary Goldsmith: “I’ll tell you who does that, James Corden. He does that all the time.

“I go to him, ‘I really like your shoes,’ and he goes, ‘Yeah, Stella Mccartney.’ I’m like, I didn’t ask you who made them, I just said I like your shoes.

“He constantly, constantly throws out names.”

She went on to say about the comedian and Gavin & Stacey star: “When he got to America, he played the LA game really well.”

Fellow X Factor judge Louis, 71, concurred: “Kissing all the right people. Anna Wintour, mwah, mwah.”

This prompted Sharon to reply: “Oh, she loves him, loves him. But who loves Anna Wintour? I think she’s a C-word.”

“Yeah, she is,” Louis agreed. “And Ellen Degeneres?”

At this, Sharon pretended to vomit.

A source at Celebrity Big Brother confirmed all episodes go through intense scrutiny with compliance teams before they make it to air.

During the live streams on ITVX, anything risky is replaced with the sound of birdsong.

One viewer claimed the sounds of birds

played non-stop for 22 minutes during a live stream this week. CBB fans had similar complaints during last year’s stream. In October 2023, viewers claimed birdsong was laid over half of a three-hour live feed. Narrator Marcus Bentley, 56, said: “The birdsong that gets played was recorded 23 years ago, in the chief sound engineer’s garden.

“Both he and the sound still work on the show to this day!”

Sharon Osbourne says one of the main reasons she went on CBB for the week was to make her rocker husband

Ozzy, 75, laugh.

He still gets a giggle from old clips of Sharon and Louis Walsh together on The X Factor and will have been tuning into their reunion on CBB. Sharon said: “My husband is always saying, ‘Oh God, you and Louis, what a

couple’.”
