Surrogate mum has moved in with baby No2 on way
DWTS judge Arthur tells of his plans with husband Brian to expand family
DANCING With The Stars judge Arthur Gourounlian has revealed their surrogate has moved in with them as she is expecting baby number two.
The Armenian-born choreographer, 43, revealed he and his Big Brother star husband Brian
Dowling are expecting another child later this year.
Brian’s sister Aoife is acting as their surrogate again and
Arthur opened up about his gratitude.
He said: “Yeah.
Everybody knows.
Aoife has been absolutely incredible. From day one she knew we wanted siblings for Blake so yeah it’s Aoife.
“When she came to us and said I really want to do it and help again… we were like ‘are you serious? Are you sure?’ And she said yes.
“It’s been absolutely amazing and she has been just incredible.
“She moved in with us and has a room with us.”
Arthur admitted
Blake still doesn’t understand that she will be a big sister as he reveals baby number two is arriving in June.
He said: “When we announced she [Blake] was having her breakfast, blase to what was happening in the world.
“It was Saturday morning and Blake was just having a banana and strawberry, no care in the world so she is too young to understand.
“Everyone is saying two under two, double trouble now I’m kind of panicked, but I think it is okay and Blake is understanding lots of things.
“So now the new thing is when she sees babies she says ‘shhh’ kind of like getting ready for it. She’s [Aoife] 23 weeks. Due in June, July.”
Arthur also admitted he was “disappointed” at the outcome of the March 8 referendum, saying every family is different.
He added: “As we know from Brian and I there are so many different types of families these days.
“Everybody is so different. The times have changed…
“I think all families should be recognised, not just LGBTQ families.
“Everybody should be respected and recognised. Everybody should be helped in different ways.
“It is kind of disappointing because like I said we are so different, we are moving forward. Personally, it is sad. It should’ve been yes.”
