Louis told Col acting dream ‘waste of time’

-

LOUIS Walsh has revealed he told Hollywood star Colin Farrell he was wasting his time trying to be an actor.

The controversial music manager – who has taken aim at some of the biggest names in the showbiz industry – revealed on last night’s Celebrity Big Brother that he told Farrell he “couldn’t sing or dance” when he auditioned for Boyzone.

While sitting in the kitchen with Colson and Fern, Louis reveals he is good friends with the Irish actor.

He said: “I know him very well as he auditioned for Boyzone and he told me he wanted to be an actor, I knew him from Dublin”

Fern Britton comments: “And now he has an Oscar, doesn’t he?”

Louis goes on to say of his audition: “I said ‘You can’t sing, I can’t give you the gig’ because I knew him very well. And he said to me, ‘Oh I wanna be an actor’ and I said, ‘You’re wasting your f***ing time’.”

Louis adds: “He went and he worked, no no, he worked it.” Colson says: “He’s amazing.”

Fern added: “And he’s very cool”. Later that evening, the housemates open up to one another in the garden.

Colson asks Louis of his proudest accomplishment of his working career, with Louis responding: “Honestly, I think I’m lucky to be still working. I think I’m lucky to have gotten a break originally with Boyzone, that started my life.

“Simon Cowell changed my life because I met him, I did so many things with him. I think I’m just lucky to be working, that’s absolutely true, and still getting away with it!”

Nikita is asked to share his thoughts on what is more important, talent or ambition, sharing his thoughts he says “Ambition probably… talent can just get you to a certain point but when you don’t have that drive, when you don’t have that hunger, when you don’t have that love...”
