LIZ Hurley had no issues stripping off and filming erotic scenes for her son’s debut movie, Strictly Confidential. The actress, who plays the lead in the drama, written and directed by Damian, 21, says even the film’s intimate samesex scene didn’t bother her.
Liz, 58, who co-produced the film, said having her son behind the camera made her feel safe, especially when she had to take her clothes off.
The model said: “I loved being directed by Damian. It felt liberating. I felt relaxed in front of him. It’s relaxing knowing someone’s behind the camera who looks out for you.
“There were things in the script that Damian needed me to do that I hadn’t done in movies many times before but having him there meant that I felt safe and looked after.
“I feel like we really collaborated well and it was both fabulous and frightening to work on something that places a certain amount of pressure on your shoulders, both mine and Damian’s.
“But I really feel like we rose to the challenge and I think we have made a beautiful movie.”
Liz, who dated actor Hugh Grant for 13 years, added: “Working with Damian and being directed by him is pretty much normal. He’s been directing me in movies since he was little.
“We would be on vacation and he would corral as many friends and family to be in his films as he could. There was no sitting around the pool with a book, we had our lines to learn.
“We still have those movies. They are extraordinary to watch.
“Obviously, the stakes are higher with a film like this, but as far as working together, it’s easy for us.
“Damian has been around film sets for years with me. He knows more than I do. Strictly Confidential was produced by Philippe Martinez and myself.
“We gave any advice or ideas we could on the script but Damian was incredibly well prepared, as I knew he would be. It’s kind of liberating to work with your family. I may do it again.”
Damian, whose dad is late American businessman Steve Bing, said he feels no discomfort filming or photographing his mother in very skimpy clothing.
The model and actor, who takes after his mum, said: “People find this really controversial. Showbusiness has been a fundamental part of my entire life. So to us it’s not a thing. It is just part of business. She takes my photos, I take her photos.
“We kind of felt in our comfort zone. It’s very strange. I think also when you’re on an independent film, when you have 18 days to shoot every single second counts, you can’t sit around thinking, ‘Oh, what if maybe…’, you just have to go for it and do as much as you
