FOOTIE legend Roy Keane was the victim of funny banter when fellow pundits accused him of “letting himself go”.

Former Ireland and Manchester United star Keano, 52, was told it was because his wife is away.

Ex-england player Jill Scott, 37, also teased the dad-offive about having an old mobile phone on the latest episode of Skybet’s Stick to Football show.

As a make-up artist applied some magic to Roy for TV, Scott joked: “He’s letting himself go because his wife’s away.

“He hasn’t even had a shave.” She then held up Roy’s mobile and said: “Look at this phone.

“Richest guy in the world. It’s still got the [home] button.”

Show host Gary Neville, 49, an ex-united teammate of Keane, said: “Can we get Roy a new phone?”

As Neville, Scott, guest former Newcastle United ace Les Ferdinand, 57,

DAD’S STYLISH pundit Ian Wright, 60, and Roy gathered for a group photo at the end of recording, Jill joked: “You can’t take a picture on Roy’s phone.”

The show got off to a hilarious start when Neville asked Roy about his latest Instagram post.

Keano couldn’t remember and said: “What did I do last week? I sent a picture.”

He asked Ferdinand: “How’s your memory? I can’t remember. And you headed the ball more than me.

“I can’t remember the Instagram.”

The Insta post, which was about Keano’s ex-united teammate Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, was his latest since joining the social media platform in 2021.

He had deactivated his account but delighted his 2 million Instagram followers with the new post earlier this month. Corkman Keano had a glittering playing career, especially at Manchester United, before achieving success in coaching with Sunderland and Ireland.

He scored 33 goals in 326 appearances over 12 years for United, winning the Champions League, four FA Cups, four League Cups, seven Premier Leagues and one Club World Cup.
