BRUCE Springsteen will make history as the first international songwriter to be awarded an Ivors Academy fellowship.

The US singer-songwriter, dubbed The Boss, will become the 27th person to receive the academy’s highest honour in London on May 23.

The rock star, 74, will become the first international songwriter inducted into the fellowship in its 80-year history.

It follows his “outstanding contribution to the craft of songwriting” and his “impact on the UK’S cultural landscape”.

The hitmaker said: “The award stands as a tribute to the fans and friends who have supported me and my work for the last 50 years.”

MAURA Higgins goes braless in a yellow halterneck dress – and fans on a budget can copy her style.

The former Love Island star is on holiday in Dubai where she appears to be enjoying some downtime going to

Pilates classes and tasting nice food.

Longford lass Maura, 33, posed outside San Beach restaurant, pairing her chic look with sandals.

She captioned the post: “Lemon drizzle anyone.”

And fans of Maura’s look can check it out for themselves as her dress appears to be from Australian brand Billy J. The Frances Maxi Dress is priced at a reasonable €60.95.

Maura’s getaway comes amid reports she has split from stuntman Bobby Holland Hanton after sources say she could no longer see a future with the Chris Hemsworth lookalike.

London-based Maura recently took a social media detox. She wrote: “Always remember to take some time to unplug and set aside the world for a few moments.”
